Mulholland Hearth

📍 Mulholland, CA

Tucked into a wooded hillside lot off Mulholland, this backyard is built around a stacked-stone water wall in two-tone slate, lit warm at night and grounded by a stone Buddha at its base — a quiet moment before the yard opens up.

From there it climbs: a raised hot tub deck for evenings, a built-in gas fire pit wrapped in a wood bench and framed by agave, and a lit stone staircase leading up through the oaks to a second fire circle with a full ring of seating — two distinct gathering spots on one hillside.
